Bachelors degree in Music from Fisk University, graduate work at Indiana. Principal flutist with the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra for two decades. Fairly demanding instructor, professional approach, but has good sense of humor and is easy to get along with. Patient with all ages. Schedules summer lessons only in Knoxville. Offers workshops (included with cost of lessons) in theory, music history, ensemble playing etc. Retired president of the National PTA organization.
