Harold Nagge, Guitar

Has a Master's in guitar performance from UT, where he studied with jazz giant Jerry Coker. Nagge teaches at Maryville College, Pellissippi State, and Roane State in addition to Music Arts. Specialty areas are jazz improvisation and classical guitar. He has an excellent general music background which comes from having advanced degrees. Emphasizes theory in lessons. Is well-respected among the guitar community. Has a quiet, encouraging style in lessons. Prefers more advanced students but might take beginners with an audition. Teaches occasionally at Alliance Church.
