2004 Composition Winners Announced

2004 Composition winners Calvin Cummings, Daniel Bridges, and Jessie Pounds.

Congratulations to the winners of the Music Arts 2004 Composition Contest, and to their instructors who helped nurture their talents!

First Prize goes to Daniel Bridges, son of Cathy and Arnold Bridges, for his guitar opus. Daniel studies guitar with Harold Nagge.

Second Prize was awarded to Jessie Pounds, cello student of Nancy England. Jessie is the daughter of Judy Roitman and Larry Pounds. Calvin Cummings, piano student of Rudolph Nemeth, received Third Prize. His parents are Elizabeth and Peter Cummings. With a double entry, Daniel Bridges cleaned up fourth place with his piano work. Daniel is also a piano student of Nemeth’s.
