PIANO FOR SALE!

Faculty member Professor Romeo Fracalanza has retired from teaching and would like to sell his really fine digital piano.

It’s a Roland HP-337, their top of the line, and is in mint condition. Professor Fracalanza paid $4000 for it in 2000 and is asking $1750.  We think that’s a very reasonable cost for such a versatile instrument (and it’s easy to move and doesn’t need tuning!).

The powerful HP-337 Digital Piano boasts Roland's best stereo-sampled piano sounds with maximum stereo 64-voice polyphony, a new PA-5 Progressive Hammer-Action keyboard, an easy-play Pianist feature, complete front panel access to hundreds of high-quality GS sounds and limitless expansion into computer music applications.

Includes:

  • 88-note HP-Series digital piano with PA-5 Progressive Hammer-Action keyboard
  • Newly-developed stereo-sampled piano sounds with maximum stereo 64-voice polyphony
  • GS/GM2-compatible sound set with over 270 instrument sounds including eight drum sets and sound effects
  • Pianist function provides 22 piano accompaniment styles
  • Split mode for playing any combination of onboard sounds
  • Metronome function with various sound options
  • Three-track realtime recorder with up to 30,000 note storage
  • 10 levels of reverb, chorus and sympathetic resonance
  • Built-in stereo sound system; Three pedals: damper, soft and sostenuto
  • Audio In/Out, dual headphone jacks and MIDI In/Out jacks, plus serial port for connection to a computer
  • Beautiful cabinet design with mahogany finish and sliding keyboard cover

One of the Professor’s students has described the piano as “... a nice instrument, similar to the Technics used by Music Arts at the Alliance Church, but in a larger cabinet -- looks and sounds more like a real piano.”
