Robert Alfonso teaches guitar and songwriting, primarily at his home in Oak Ridge.
He is a patient and enthusiastic instructor who works with students of all ages, from beginner to intermediate. He has written and performed songs in a broad range of styles, from country to rock to French chanson and bossa nova.
He emphasizes song and chord structure, scales, and basic music theory to help students attain proficiency in the style or styles of music they most enjoy.
Robert is also an Associate Professor of English at Roane State Community College. |
